Resist checking that email!

Have you ever noticed how often you check your email? I have a habit of leaving my mail program open all day and waiting for that magic sound to signal I have a new message. But what happens when you hear that ding? Most often you read the note and perhaps reply, but you’ve directed your attention to a task that wasn’t important a second ago. That’s why I’ve started a new habit: checking my email only twice day. Because I’m so popular with the DWD clients, I’ve included in my email signature the following message to let people know I’m not ignoring their compliments:

**Emails are reviewed at 11am & 4pm EST. If you have an urgent message, please call!

I haven’t received any complaints from my avid fans and yet I’m able to finish my projects without mindless interruptions, making me one productive pooch!
